Yeah, I noticed the differences :) I think they did a fair job except with the dusty ending... (Where John is totally alive) and I was super happy to have an appearance by Johnny Cash! I love that man... and the song John was listening to is like the ONLY one I don't have! Darn it!!
I thought I might have heard female in there somewhere but I didn't know if it was about the person he went to rescue or what. Thanks for clearing it all up. I was like... "um... huh? did they just say John is gay... or did he go to rescue a woman..." it was rather comical I'm sure...
